Day 2by edmengComment by SandyP: I wonder where this place is. It looks beautiful. I really love how it is anchored by the boulder in the foreground. This is an excellent choice for black and white photography with representations of the stark white all the way to pure black. I like it!

Day 2by edmengComment by Retroesque: Nice processing. I think on the photo I may have gone for a slimmer crop on the left hand side and not shown the whole building rather snap it off and eleminate the palm tree. |

Day 2by edmengComment by alexjack: Cool shot, good screen shot to show your PP. Very effective selective lighting with the curves and mask - nice job darkening the sky and the foreground area. Very sharp too. From a compostional standpoint I like the foreground leading into the building, I find the sky somewhat distracting (even though it is processed great) and I also find the tree on the L breaking up the nice diagonal line and repeating curves of the roofline.
Great job though, and thanks for the screen shot.
