Whooping Crane in the Reedsby olddjComment by SandyP: Wow! This is COOL! You must have been right there IN the grass with that fellow! This is perfect. Sharp, clean, great colors. Maybe just the tiniest bit of background noise. Sometimes I can get read of that by creating a layer and neat imaging the layer, then erase thru just on the bird so there's no neat image on the bird. Sometimes that helps.
But this is a very cool shot!!! I love it! |

Long Lookby olddjComment by olddj: This is a photo of a patio chair, with the camera at such an angle that the seat and back run together to give it a feel of infinity. Sorry so many did not like it!

Long Lookby olddjComment by SandyP: Jacque this is a very cool texture shot!!! I wonder if the depth-of-field nazi's got you on this. ..but I really like the depth of field. I think it should have scored a lot higher than 5.1! Who can predict these voters!!! |

Why does it keep bothering me, I ain't got no food !!by olddjComment by espy2: I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.
Children are so easy to capture a candid moment from. Usually a candid shot for me, and with a child, has to exude a lot of interest or be exceptional. I like the concept of this photo. The interest of the bird and the expression does make it a good candid. Where it lacks, however, is in the technicals. I think the focus is just too far off the boy, and I so want to real that in on this shot so I can feel the moment more. It's still a good 5 photo though. It's a nice capture. |
