Day 18 - St. Stephens Church - Side Doorby Bruce_the_RobertComment by JerseyGenie: Love those textures, you did a great job of capturing them and of showing the age too.
One thing I would consider doing is cropping out the red bricks on the left side of the photo. I thought it distracted from the other details.
Really cool looking door! |

Day 17 - Norwich Castleby Bruce_the_RobertComment by SandyP: What a grande old building! Since America is not even 250 years old, it is such a treat for us to see and experience this kind of old architecture! I can feel the history just looking at the photo!

Day 16 - Norwich Guildhall Clockby Bruce_the_RobertComment by Melethia: Very nice detail can be seen in this - like the figures on either side of the clock. I wonder if the hands are original (or the clock workings for that matter). Good PP to bring out the sky but not overdo it. (PS - the link doesn't seem to have anything there - just \\\) Message edited by author 2007-02-17 16:39:10. |

Day 16 - Norwich Guildhall Clockby Bruce_the_RobertComment by SandyP: When I was a child, I lived in Germany, and that is one thing I vividly remember. . .the OLD OLD grand clocks as architecture in European towns. Thanks for stirring that wonderful memory of childhood. This is so amazing!

Day 16 - Norwich Guildhall Clockby Bruce_the_RobertComment by MelonMusketeer: I noticed the ornate detail in the art on the buildings when I was in London a few years ago. No one seems to care to do that sort of decorative work any longer. Thank you for the little side trip with the link to the history. Good image the way you shot it and did the touch up work. |
