This is a wonderful composition. Great minimalism - duck, reflection of duck and slight ripple in the water. Awesome. The frame gives the whole thing a kick and really works well here. (though I think you should have tried the fuzzy frame... haha!)

Question: You say there's some light haloing, I don't really notice it on my monitor. I've had some luck sometimes by light burning to get rid of some halo's, and masking when I save the selection and then expand the selection size. Can anyone give some other ways to get rid of halo's, I know my photo's have them.

I see a very calm atmosphere and I like the waves and the reflexion. But "my eye" needs to see the duck's color and why not, a selective desaturation!
