A very powerful shot...it clearly expresses emotion. Perhaps a smidge overexposed (especially in his fingernail) and not critically sharp/focused. But still a strong entry.

First impressions: Nice subdued colours and fairly good placement of the main water droplet. The image seems out of focus.

Composition:
What works: -- The water droplet is placed at or near one of the points for rule of thirds. -- The ripple to the left of the drop goes off on a diagonal which makes the image more dynamic

What doesn't work: The crop feels very tight all the way around.

Exposure:
For the most part the exposure seems right with only a few hot spots.

Impact: Most of the impact seems to be achieved from the diagonal placement of the ripples. I think the ripples could be placed more on the diagonal for more impact. More impact would also be achieved if the image were sharper.

Keep shooting.
