Woody Point Light Colour.jpgby orussellComment by Neil: Love this! Great compositional balance!
But one thing--look at where the center mountaintops meet the clouds...is this JPEG corrupted or is it an illusion? I see some weird disjointed effects and double ridges. |

Little Green Shackby orussellComment by rex: I love the color of the building, I love the color of the sky, I hate that trash at the bottom of your photo. See that cup....someone should have there butt kicked for littering. Nice photo I give you an 8 |

Little Green Shackby orussellComment by macrothing: 6 - Nice perspective, nice colors. Criticism; fore left, minor details there, looks like 'garbage', so either cropped out, although in my opinion, if you had moved closer to the 'rack', and utilized 'it', with an even sharper perspective, while retaining the 'shack' at the 'rule intersection', would have made this a more dramatic shot. Perhaps you were trying to retain the shadow that I just noticed under that 'rack', but as I say, in my opinion, for this Challenge, and given your title, more impact on the 'shack' would have made this better. A lot of potential in this scene. Perhaps even a little darker/contrasted, not sure. |

The-Gravels-3.jpgby orussellComment by mfairbanks: Greetings,
Wow, nice pic here, not quiet sure what the point of interest is due to the title, "the gravels" is this a reference to the fishing boat, or the land mass on the horizon, or something else entirely? Colors might be a bit washed out from the horizon on up, but that could be my monitor, even if they are, an easy fix in PS, a great pic though, just confusing due to the title....

Little Green Shackby orussellComment by Germaine: I think this would have been a more powerful image without the ladder in the foreground. IMHO it overwhelms the shack which has good color and lines by itself. |
