I think that your husband it placed much attention at the blond woman :)
The challenge title was stupid stupid and a shot in a party match the contest. good your attention for capture the moment. this isn't a true artistic shot, but is difficult snapped an artistic shot in a contest with that title. I think that this photo is the maximum that you can obtain in that situation.

This one has a more casual "FUN" feeling to it, and I really like the composition. You can also see her beautiful engagement ring. I like to see you do a shot of their hands close up, with her ring on, to add to this collection.
