It's a good photo but I don't feel it fits the challenge at all. As I see it this is READING the journalism artical that someone else wrote. My understanding was that you were to be taking the picture for an article, and it would cause them to want to read the article. If I'm wrong, please correct me. Sorry. I can't give more than 4 and that high because it is a good clean photo. PTL4

I can understand your liberal interpretation of the challenge, which normally I'm just dandy with, but I think this week it was pretty specific. I just feel that this doesn't fit the challenge. The lighting is good though, and the cookies were a nice touch.

I think this shot would be a lot better if that background was cut out. Maybe if you took it from a higher angle it would eliminate this. Maybe if you opened the aperture a little more so you could blur it out. Also it might look a little sharper in the foreground if you upped the contrast some.
