The lighting is too harsh on the right side. Don't go for a "perfect white" background if it means losing quality in the sunject matter.

I'm not really sure that I like the effect applied here. Whatever it was that was done to this photo has left pink and blue blotchy areas on the shoes. I think the lighting makes the photo interesting, but I think the shadow between the shoes is a distraction. Focus seems ok, although hard to tell with the effect. Very interesting shoes though.
