Hilarious. I love the use of black and white here. Excelent contrast in my opinion. I like how the photo is dark, but the butt really stands out. Very nice artwork there too. Focus and clarity are great. Angle and framing/cropping are great. Lighitng is perfect. One of my favorite shots this week. You deserve a top 3. Good luck in the challenge.

Awesome. I hope it's real. ;) As for the technicality of it all, some people might claim that it's a bit dark, but I think that's it just perfect. It puts all the attention right where it needs to be.

While I realize that the red is part of his shell, I do think it's a bit distracting. With the tight crop, I think it would be ok if you cropped that out too. I don't think it would damage the photo in any way. I like the tight crop, I think that it enhances the "macro effect". your focus and clarity are great, and the lighting is good. A little more light wouldn't have hurt, but I think it's ok the way it is. What a cutie!

Is this a photo of a guy with the cup in front of it? I think that it fits the challenge nicely. A 4 is a 4. I think that I would like to have seen an actual person sipping on the cup though. I wonder if that might have had a higher visual impact on the viewer. Focus and clarity are great. Lighting is also very nice. Angle and framing/cropping also good. The background works here, nothing distracting at all.
