Bloodcup: Drink of Strength and Spirtby AnachroniteComment by BBkidLy: I'm astounded by this. I know I'm coming back almost two years later, but you guys are ridiculous. 48 votes for a 1 rating. Viewing the comments, I can see it was because of the subject matter and the act being committed. I wonder how this photograph would've been rated different if you didn't view it as wrong and evil. I'm ashamed in all of you. This website was made to share the art of photography, not your personal views on hunting. To be honest, I'd much rather go shoot a deer and get 100 pounds of meat for the price of one round (a few cents). Then go pay $3/lb for some "high" quality, chemical processed beef. |

Boneyardby AnachroniteComment by Zoomdak: Maybe if you were a little further away, or used a tripod, or a faster shutter speed, this image may be in focus a bit more. |

Boneyardby AnachroniteComment by cghubbell: Combination of dull lighting and softness detracts from the image. I like the point of view you've chosen for the composition - makes for a very clear subject. |

Stop! Moon Dead Ahead!by AnachroniteComment by Skip: this is great example of how a challenge can push you. you finished well with a nice challenge entry. the question is, what to do next. i think this is a shot that would sell (meaning that somebody else might like to put it on their wall), if it was reshot without the moon and a little more dead-on. it might also be interesting to look at this from a slightly lower angle, adding 20-30% more negative space at the top...just a suggestion. as far as challenges go, i can't say anything else but good job! |
