The black border hurts this picture. It actually takes a moment to realize that, at the right, you're looking at a border, and not at some strange impedement to that side of the frame. Also, the picture is way too under-exposed for my tase; you might have tried an even slower shutter speed, a wider aperture, a faster film, or some combination.
