Doorsby KenComment by hajeka: Great doors. Makes me wondering what's behind it. |

Buildingby KenComment by EstimatedEyes: Nice juxtaposition of old and new there at the top, and that bright blue polarized sky adds a nice contrast to the pic. |

Buildingby KenComment by hajeka: Whow! That's an awful lot of blue sky. The upper part looks like a greek restaurant where you can drink ouzo and eat delicious meals. |

Spaceshipby KenComment by EstimatedEyes: Interesting filter, and a nice image to go with it. Now this is truly taking something ordinary and making it extra-ordinary! Nice find on your walkabout. |

Taste of Freedomby KenComment by hajeka: Wonderful story and shot. It has a kind of candid shot feeling, but without any people in it. Perhaps it's the B&W. |

Spaceshipby KenComment by hajeka: Strange but interesting figure. Think it's the post processing. I like the bright blue colors. |

Mexican Love Triangleby KenComment by hajeka: Don't know anything about a "Mexican Love Triangle", but looking at this photo it seems something eatable. Nice to see the men working. Give some idea about the size. |

Arctic Eternityby KenComment by Ken: Originally posted by VillagesKahuna: Where were you when you took this? While I spend most of the year in central Florida, I have a home in Berrien County, MI. I've take a lot of pictures in both Michigan City as well as of the St. Joe lighthouse. I might have guessed you were standing on the MC lighthouse walkway, looking towards Chicago in the late afternoon. But the land on the far left horizon suggests it was someplace else. I don't think I've ever seen Lake Michigan colored as it was the day you took the picture. Nice work. |
You are correct - it was taken from the walkway looking just a bit South of Chicago. It's hard to see but the land on the left is mostly dunes. |
