Sometimes that helps take the attention away from distractions (and I think you could get a beautiful black and white here in any case). |
I told her to look at the camera, which is why she looked away! |

Portrait 02by KenComment by Molly: Definately well worth the nickel!! She is such a beautiful model and I am so glad to see someone else posting pictures of their kids as much as I do! I like the crop and the expression.. looks to me like she's pondering what she's going to spend that nickel on! Too cute! |

Portrait 02by KenComment by Lonni: Well you certainly nailed the focus :)
I like how the hair conceals the right eye, thereby drawing the focus to the left. I also like the compliments of the green/orange of the shirt/background.
I guess my only criticism would be the somewhat flat lighting, but that was out of your control. I guess her skin really is that perfect! |

Furyby KenComment by SandyP: Beautiful, Ken! I love the effect of that fog /steam drifting over the pier.

Week 27 - Boatyardby KenComment by Melethia: A rare instance where I like both versions about the same. The black and white adds to the timelessness of the scene, but the color is nicely muted - adds a vibrance that isn't as apparent in the B&W version. Nifty location! |
