Symbiosisby mtppComment by pineapple: Indeed it is and there are a good few years growth there. The symbiotic activity between bacteria, fungus and roots takes a while to develop. I hope you transpanted this specimen carefully. It's a nice botanical photo, providing you know the names (scientific names that is) of the tree and the visible fungus. |

Symbiosisby mtppComment by KarenNfld: I really love the composition here. What I don't like is where you erased or enhanced only parts of the background. I would have prefered to see it all one shade (either all white or all off white). As it is, it just looks like a sloppy editing job. Still, I would imagine this will do well. |
