Comment by Neil:
I like the softnesss here and the tones. I think the BW version by CalliopeKel has a lot of promise though, so perhaps you should explore both.

By the way, I just visited your portfolio, and you have beautiful work there. Looks too like you could have your choice of being a model or a fine arts photographer!

I would like to see it in B&W and only your hair neat imaged or blurred....really nice pose and composition though. Your skin is flawless enough without too much neat image or blurring.

I did this to it.

A little over photoshopped, but it gives it a style...

Model is about as close to Mattel Barbie as you can get...

Comment by JH:
Composition and colours are good. And the models expression is great. Overall gives a nice dreamy quality. But, (as the other comments said) too much Neat Image - the background looks odd.

If you really need to use NI on this shot I'd suggest one of two things;

1) Go easy on it - Make sure the background trees are still reasonably sharp

or

2) Buy the version which plugs in to Photoshop and allows you to apply the effect to just a selected area of the shot. That way you can Neat Image the girl and leave the trees alone. (In fact, you can achieve the same effect in PS with the free version of NI and a couple of layers) - But I'll leave that to your imagination.... :)

Depends on what you are conveying? Reminds me of those romance novel covers that look like paintings.

I would like to see more sharpness brought back to the girl. The viewers eyes sweep from left to right because of rules of third and you see the girl but without more sharpness your eye doesn't linger as long.

The way you have the compositon it you put some font or message on the left side and the viewer would focus your eyes there like an ad would.

Actually I like what the neat image did to her...
Moves it a bit into digital art, but looks very nice...

I'd love to see her against a background trees that didn't have it done and maybe slightly desaturated.. Would make her pop off the screen.

Comment by MQuinn:
I have to agree with the last comment, Neat Image just doesn't play well with the trees. Works good on the person, but it was kinda pushed to far.
