Yosemite half dome sunsetby gaurawaComment by christie3: Gorgeous sunset! In the thumbnail, I thought it was actually selective desat. The orange highlight is perfect here.
I like the dead-looking leaf-less tree in the foreground too, gives it a rather melancholoy feel.
Very nice work, I may just have to show this print to my grandpa--he loves Yosemite--and maybe I'll convince him to buy a print (he also is a fan of well done photography, and this definitely is!) |

Shades of blueby gaurawaComment by christie3: Gorgeous shot!
Looks like it SHOULD be on a magazine cover or travel brochure or "Wish you were here" card, lol. :)
Palm tree is perfect framing for this. Fantastic job. |

Thinking of youby gaurawaComment by digitalknight: those bright leaves in the top center are bright enough to draw my attention, maybe burn those hightlights a tad to draw attention back to the falls? - it's a beautiful photo and really nice work |

Thinking of youby gaurawaComment by p2jvr: Is this supposed to be a bereavement card? the black border makes me think it is but the picture does not fit that genre IMHO |

Thinking of youby gaurawaComment by ericpi: It's a great shot of a beautiful river. However, I think it's missing something for a "thinking of you" card. Perhaps a person off to the side pensively admiring the view would make it more effective as a greeting card? |

Thinking of youby gaurawaComment by Jutilda: This is lovely. The whole scene has a velvety feel to it and yet it's tack sharp. The green tones with a touch of blue here and there is just wonderful. I like that you are down on the level of the rocks, so that the water is coming right "over you." The composition is done so well and the natural frame of the trees is perfect. Really nicely done. |
