Excellent job - I think the very deep DOF in this case helped, some might feel the background is too busy but I think it adds substance and another layer to this two-dimensional, though beautiful, spiderweb.
The only critique I have is that the horizon seems to be crooked, although it looks like you squared up with the center of the web and since that is the subject it almost echoes the feeling of the land beyond being another dimension.

I never thought a phone could focus on something like this, and that it would give such a nice out of focus background
