That's beautiful. The light fall off makes it just perfect. The border fits too, and adds a little dash of sharpness and angles to contrast with the softness of the subject.

Really pretty. I think the frame is a touch intense. I'd do the orange/red color at about 50 percent and then maybe run the blur tool on it to go along with the soft feathers. They are gorgeous.

That red is a revelation, almost literally. Too much sharpness around the edges would have (I know this sounds odd) dulled the impact of that red - you were right to keep it soft, IMO.
