I hope you keep going w/this & play around with it some more. You could mask out the flower & play with creating some light on the BG just to see what happens. |

Pinkby KatmystiryComment by suemack: Nice place to start, what a beautiful flower. I wonder if you tried a different overlay mode (like screen) and lowered the opacity ...... trying to keep the texture but lighten and soften it so the flower was the primary focus. I often mask my overlay and invert it, then just paint it back on with a soft brush. |

Gone By in a Blurby KatmystiryComment by MelonMusketeer: I see that you were panning with the ball carrier. It's a good shot, showing a lot of activity and interactions. If you would post shutter speed, we would know how to get about this much motion blur with people running. My guess would be about 1/15 to 1/30 sec. |
