Another nice finish! He looks real contented to let you snap away. Agree with the other comment about the border tho' and the snow looks slightly over-blown. I'd maybe reduce just a wee bit of what seems like an overall blue tint.

I like this. It's one of those shots that grow on you being relatively understated but clever. My guess is that you lost some points precisely because of that. Understated is not necessarily bad but when people are going through tons of entries to vote, not having an instant "wow" factor could sure hurt. Just my 2-cents.
