This is really an exceptional shot. Great job with the lighting. It invokes the proper mood.
Now I'm not positive on this, but that gentleman appears to look a lot like alfresco, who is visiting the east coast. So, a pure speculation, I am led to believe this is Laurie's. Just a guess.

I agree that the colors in the foreground are a bit bright. I'm terrible selecting only parts and making them pop, but Charles' suggestion sounds right on.
