Not a problem, you can rotate the polarizer so it is NOT polarizing the rainbow and then it's just a ND filter in effect.

I'm with you on the f/32 vs. dust thing. Maybe get an ND filter? I had a similar problem with my entry (although mine was at f/20 where the dust isn't quite so bad). |
I definitely could have used a ND! I already had a gradND but the white blades of the windmills against the dark sky were tough to hold. I still blew out the stationary ones. |
