Sweet shot, Mark. We've been taking our kids camping since my oldest was literally 15 months old. You did a great job using the leading lines of the trunks to drive the eye to the boy, and the contrasting colors are terrific!

Oh my! Well done. I was pretty reved up about this challenge to see what others had to offer, and this is the first one I've seen that really captured the "childhood" aspect without being too artificial. I like it alot.

Alone in the woods is a mamory that I can't perceive. There's a nice forrest next to the city I grew up and my school used to regularly organize regularly trips to the forrest. But, my memories from the forrest are full with children, friends, noise, food, balls, games, teachers...
Growing up in the nature is a healthy way to try to understand the world and the life. I'm glad you present your first memory as an image from nature.
