for me a far more natural story-line in this would be: unbroken, cue-ball, the break.

Might reposition the 8 ball to illuminate the number 8 more, as it is currently lost when it is the main feature. A little more DOF might help as the cue ball is also a major player.

nice lighting, but maybe IMO you should use higher apperture value to get a little bit sharper white ball. also nice contrast 6

Was this lit with a utility lamp? It looks like it has a terrible yellow cast. The red is oversaturated too (which I find common on digital) The idea is creative and the composition is good. 6

Great shot! I like your composition for each photo. I think the center shot could improve from som increased DOF, and all the shots could be improved by adjusting the color balance/curves. There's a lot of red and yellow here. Nice job!
