I think this would be more effective if the lighting on the faces was brighter - the background dominates.

Poor mandrade really needs to get over himself. The photographer is an Aussie and we are one of the Yanks greatest allies. Don't forget it is a very dirty Aussie bin, maybe he should have found a foreign bin and use it, or, is he making a 'dirty comment' about Oz? Wake up and look at the photo, look at the colours and use your imagination in lieu of your paranoia!

It is a shame they do not hear or have not heard the music of the V8's. Just came back from Phillip Island after watching the final series and it was fantastic. Good photo, what setting and distance were you at. Thinking of buying the same lens for my 20D. Good luck.

Aha! Now I understand...

This image has some great colors going for it, and such an interesting looking subject! I wonder what would happen if you rotated the photo just a bit so that the race car was holding on to that road and coming more towards the lower right corner of the image? After cropping it would be a subtle adjustment and the lines in the photo (track/grass) would lend more energy to that superfast race car image.
A very nice capture. Nice and clear. If it weren't for the tires spinning frantically, it would look like a still shot it's that clear!

: )
