GoGirlGo!by gsalComment by dtremain: Great expressions, but the ball-only right pane just doesn't work for me. The first two frames show a girl, then the right one shows just a ball - not what I would expect. Even if the center pane had the ball in it, it would make more sense. Good lighting. Picture frame in background is distracting in middle and right panes. |

GoGirlGo!by gsalComment by ELLIPS: Both extreme crops are strange, unbalanced; the central image is fine, the triptych not particularly attractive. 6 for the creativity. |

Youthby gsalComment by CNovack: The image grain, B& W presentation, and the off kilter angle of this young girl gives this a very artsy type feel. A quick capture of a fleeting moment is what the mood feels - I get that from the angle this is presented in. Love the B&W treatment - the feelings of nostalgia and 'a captured moment in time to be cherished' would not work in color I feel. I didn't know what the object was in the top left corner til I read the description. The partial soccer ball is odd - I wonder how it would have looked with the full ball there and would it have detracted attention from the young girl. |

Youthby gsalComment by pawdrix: I gave you a 9. I hope you're NOT listening to the folks complaining about the dark thing on the top left. It's a silly thing to mention let alone be distracted by...unless the viewer has ADD and can't focus on a great subject. |

Youthby gsalComment by Paul: Now that I know this is a soccer ball - it is so obvious!! I think it's because I saw the very top left corner as background and not part of the object. I still love the image though! Message edited by author 2009-10-08 07:39:16. |

Horse With No Nameby gsalComment by Jutilda: WOW - what a killer illustration of that classic America song!! I remember taking a long drive with a friend across west Texas and that song was on the stereo. |
