Two Friendsby gsalComment by ursula: Another fantastic image from you. What's so good about your images is that the base image is so good. D'uh! |

Two Friendsby gsalComment by Kelli: What a gorgeous smile. It's such a contrast to see such happy faces in the midst of such poverty. What an eye opener. |

Keep Smilingby gsalComment by Kelli: I'm not sure I like the little square nose at the top, but I love the rest of this! |

Two Friendsby gsalComment by salmiakki: You really managed to engage with these children. Heartbreaking to see their torn clothes. I can't even begin to imagine the poverty you have witnessed. This is a captivating portrait. |

Keep Smilingby gsalComment by ursula: Same kid over and over, works well, since you're bringing out that her smile is so compelling, together with those eyes. Interesting work. I'm not entirely convinced I like it all the way, in particular because of what comes out as negatives at the far right edge (my mind doesn't get the why for that). It is interesting that you chose to put such a free smile/eyes into such a squared off environment, it is jarring in a way. I got to think about this one. |
