Mother knows best, dearby TammerComment by DrAchoo: You know, I don't know what does it, but personally I never like this shade of sky. Makes the picture look like an old slide that's faded. The composition is nice, although perhaps a tiny bit centered. 6 |

Serpentineby TammerComment by ubique: Very nice. But wait - there's a twig on the snake's head - you should have reached over there and just gently plucked it off with your fingers. Simple, really. On the other hand, you could be like me and just leave it alone. On a serious note, I do very much like the fact that you have chosen a natural subject with a pattern, especially as there are two interesting patterns involved (scales and body form - such a clever title, too). 7. |

Mother knows best, dearby TammerComment by madison461: Very nice capture of the mom's expression as it seems to give her an almost human appeal. The sky is a weird color of teal but that may just be my monitor or your cyans are a bit too highly saturated. |

Serpentineby TammerComment by alien2thisworld: Excellent focus on the scales. It really shows their texture. Not that I'd want to reach out and touch them though. The little twig infront of the snake's head is a little distracting, but not much one can do about that in the Basic editing rules :-\ |
