Awesome shot and great color in the sky. I would maybe crop in closer to the strike and decrease the foreground a lot.

I love to see a great shot and maybe offer improvement. My first thought was there is too much foreground but after viewing for a moment longer I like it. Maybe rotate it a degree or so to the right? Great capture Sameer.

I've played with water drops mysel (and plan to do more). You have a good sharp image hear and the 'void' really adds to the image. Its a pity you don't have all of the top drop in the shot and I'd be inclined to crop it out.

I agree with Julie about the crop and would like to have seen some shot info. As a pool player myself it seems strange the balls are set up for a break with the cue ball being on the cushion?

Ouch, tough deal shooting handheld at 420mm through glass...

Have you experimented with Neat Image? It's pretty cool if you are gentle with it... It should allow you to get some decent results even up to around ISO 200...

You have a fair number of 'jaggies' in the whiskers... I'm guessing that you resized down in only a few steps?

Hair is a real pain for that...

I have an action that takes my largest images and slices them down 5% at a time like 20 times, then carefully fine tunes down to DPC size... If I need a different size, I use the history and jump back a few steps, then resize down in small increments...

I learned that it was important on my fly pic which had some crazy effects with different numbers of steps... weird moire stuff...

Using the action is the only way to go IMHO because doing it by hand takes ages!

I kinda like a lot about this, but have you considered using multiple layers, bringing out the eyes? Might be fun to brighten just the eyes up... It would certainly change the layout of the pic compositionally...

Incredible color contrast. I'm a fan of warm/cold contrast and combined with the awesome visual a double light strike provides it's an absolutely incredible photo to look at.

I think this is my favorite - I like the randomness of it. The whites are nice and white and the yellows are not overdone. The focus on the centers of the 2 flowers makes them pop but doesn' take away from the softness of the petals.
