dawnby yankoComment by Bear_Music: I don't understand the 50th place here :-( But you made the gallery, you got a Paw, so your efforts bore fruit indeed :-) |

dawnby yankoComment by Bear_Music: This is what happens when geese evolve, "2010 — A Strange Odyssey", the truncated monolith, something rotating out of sight up there, the lonely duck in perfect, splendid isolation. For some reason, I am moved. I give you the Golden Paw :-)

dawnby yankoComment by De Sousa: The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it̢۪s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. It̢۪s our responsibility to support these photographers creating diversity and expressing different visions. Being active at the Posthumous thread it̢۪s the best way to do it. Being active at the Posthumous thread it̢۪s the best way to protect your and the other̢۪s freedom of being different. Thanks for taking the time to enter this challenge. Stay wild. |

dawnby yankoComment by bvy: I fear that the magic of this image will be lost on most viewers. But maybe that's what makes it so right for this challenge. The shadowy bird on the left contrasts sharply with the two crooners and one mourner on the right. The bird in profile in the middle (sorry -- are these swans?) more or less anchors the image. A nicely balanced composition, interesting to look at. |
