Great looking riverboat and good history to go with it. I went out on the "Natchez" while in New Orleans about 25 years ago, and it was the highlight of the trip. It was a thrill to get to go into the engine room and see the steam machinery operating up close. I still have a tray of slides from that day. Thanks for the reminder about it.

Oh this is awesome! You and Kat have done such a wonderful job of showing off your wonderful city. I think I mentioned to you, and I know I did to Kat, but the best part of my entire childhood was when we lived in Ft. Knox, and I remember going into Louisville so many times to shop and experience the city. My best friend from those teenage years are getting together sometime this summer to go back to Ft. Knox and re-capture our love for Kentucky. You have both inspired me and made me want to go even more than ever!

Nicely photographed without much to distract in the background, and nice to have the plaque as well. Too bad that making such ordinary items as a water tower into a work of art isn't practiced in construction today.
