I think this is a great conversion... the top portion of the picture is just slightly too light for my preference... but that's just me. Overall this is a great picture, and the advice already given about asking Bear for help with architecture is a great idea.

Nice way to get a good composition to hide an obstruction. Anyway, the church is a very good subject. I am not good with architectural shots so can't give you many hints. I would recommend trying to see if Bear_Music can give you some tips on getting better building shots. That was the kind of photographer he used to be.
My opinion, composition is really good, but a bit more contrast in your highlights and shadows would give the image a bit of snap. Also, if you have a dodge function on your editing, you might try to dodge a bit of the front to make better detail on the doors .
