Nice width. I like the way you introduce a slightly yellowed sky into the photo. It makes it a sort of hypnotic image and counteracts the modernity of the cars. That's pretty good feeling for midday light and nice depth of detail. Again, the brick wall which conceals something enhances the photo.

Now that reminds me! You've got the essence of a snowy night in NYC there. It's magnificent. That lampost and the trash can - so typical - yet so nice when covered in frosting. The East Village is really much fun in bad weather for photography, I noticed. People are too concerned with rain, snow or whatever to notice one snapping away.
