Treesby quiet_observationComment by krnodil: Nothing like a fog rolling in to help make things all impressionistic - I think this is a very calming and pretty shot, and suits the challenge, but I find myself wishing there were a bit more free space in the composition, a bit more breathing room especially at the top. |

Good seemed the worldby quiet_observationComment by Melethia: I thought I recognized this tree. I'm amazed at how well you recreated the composition, and how closely the light resembles that in your original. Both shots provide wonderful sense of life and secrets held. I may be just a tad partial to the B&W, but I also love the multitudes and lushness of the greens in this one. |

Cycle of lifeby quiet_observationComment by mvp: I love this pic! the bownish colour tint (whether applied or not) is awesome and sets a nice mood, and I could be wrong but it appears this pic has bokeh both rear & front! Something as simple as this comes out well. 8. |
