Morning watercolorsby quiet_observationComment by timfythetoo: Back to comment - Nice colors and the background blur does have a watercolor type feel with the soft pleasing colors and patterns. You rforefront image does seem a bit soft though in focus and shadow depth. Had this been advanced editing some burning could have helped the flower bud stand out stronger I think. Maybe a elvels or curves adjustment could have helped it pop out a bit more. In general a pleasing shot just maybe not as strong as some of the other images. |

Morning watercolorsby quiet_observationComment by jaysonmc: Beautifully done. I like how the colors are in harmony. Slight suggestion, maybe having more of the flower in focus, or the maybe the tip. Stil a great picture. |

Reaching for lightby quiet_observationComment by quiet_observation: Originally posted by Bear_Music: This is an interesting approach to the topic that suffers from "not enough light" basically; you need, even in this very quiet and subtle scene, some sense of luminosity. I've taken the liberty of reprocessing your entry with some levels and curves to get more of that element into it. What do you think?

Thank you - that is a beautiful improvement and closer to the quality of light I actually saw. |
