Tilt the horizon so that it's flat. Also, what is the subject. The hut? It's almost as if the wood pilars lead your eye to the tree first, then turn and go to the hut. That's distracting to me. maybe clone the tree out and take out some of the sky so that the horizon is on the top third. The sky in this one is boring and the water has most of the information.

Oh yes, this does have a "Session 9" feel to it, creepy movie, I loved it!! Interesting shot and I like it but must say it really doesn't hold with the chains theme. Cool photo none the less. Very nice.

Wow. I really like this. Is this that fabulous rotting penitentiary? Creepy good geometry. The spooky eyeless cat reminds me of statues in a pet cemetery near us. Great dappled light and dilapidation. Have you ever seen the movie 'Session 9' ? I'm always reminded of it by your penitentiary photos.

This is a very nice shot. It's a shame that the DPC voters are such shallow minded people. Don't feel bad Mary, If Annie Liebowitz(sic) entered a DPC challenge, she would get pummeled.
