I like your take on the challenge. It's unfortunate about the tent flap/ties in the background as they are a bit distracting for me. I wish you had been just a bit more to the right when you took this so the singers would be almost looking at me the viewer of your photo, instead of off to the right hand side.

Ethnic diversity is definitely something to celebrate about. This image however tends to make me look to the right because of the positions of theirs eyes. The color and sharpness is ideal for this indoor shoot.

"Oh, that's pretty." That was my first comment to myself when I opened the image dealt to me to critique.

Fortunately, you received a respectible score, because I can find little, if anything, to fault in this picture. The reflections are excellent and the action in the water adds to the composition nicely. The buildings are uniformly in scale and placed nicely in the frame.

If you could conjure up some nice wild fall foliage I suppose that would help the "wow" factor, or perhaps a nice red rowboat floating by.

It's a pleasant, serene image that anybody would, I should think, love to have for his/her own backyard.

I can only wish you continued success in your DP Challenges.

I don't see anything prideful about his face. The DOF is good and the focus is ok, but it just doesn't have any punch for me somehow. Maybe if I could see more of his face. As it is, the shadow kind of hides too much of it for me.

I like this shot, nicely done. My one "nitpick" is that it looks like there's fog or smoke coming out of his mouth - in other words, I wish the background were not as busy. ~8

I would work at getting better expressions - the trappings are there but they just don't look like they are having fun/celebrating
