I really like this photo. There's a kind of role reversal here between negative space and subject that strikes me as being quite novel. Usually negative space exists to focus one' s attention on the subject. In this case, however, the subject is quite plain and it is the negative space that is colorful and interesting.

And, by the way, there are a number of squares one might find here. Nice.

aahh, you should have cropped off the folded part of the leaf to the left. I like this idea, the outcome is good, I would have rated it higher if you would have submitted a cropped version like I suggested. Otherwise this is good and original.

Interesting composition. Original in terms of not showing hand or fingers, just their presence known due to the shadows. Does give that sense of "touch". Can't see how to do it, but would love to lose small white area in upper left. Congratulations, and good luck with the challenge.
