Technical:This is a great capture. Maybe a little bit of tweeking with metering mode might have helped avoiding the "burning" of details on clothes. I like it personally, but I dont think it might be of everyones taste.

Aesthetic:Great! Takes me to past. B/W is ideal choice and the sharp focus on eyes is just right. The "average housewife friend" of yours should not be feeling average anymore...she looks stunning.

Challenge:Offcourse, anything would fit into theme for this challenge :)

Conclusion:Definately a great capture. Maybe a little bit of postprocessing might have improved the overall composition. I think this challenge had many great photos and this one suffered from "relative" syndrome. I'd have given is 7 had I voted for this challenge.

Beautiful image. Second one in this challenge that reminds me of a 40's pin-up girl. I love it. Tonal range is spot on. Model is beautiful and pleasing to look at. Her gaze pulls the viewer into the shot. 10 from me.

Great composition. Such a beautiful model, but somehow my eyes can't escape hers. They make such a strong focal point that you can't help but be drawn in. I love it!
