the idea can be good but the focus isn't in a good side. the main subject is the chain and I think that the focus must be on the chain. An other point of view with other crop is better for this image. even need better details on the chain.

I wish the focus on this was deeper. I really like the approach you took for this challenge - it's original. Having foreground and background blur in this doesn't seem to quite work right. I hate to mention anything to do with angles when not familiar with the scene, but here goes anyway. ;^) Did you consider moving a little to the left to get that foreground object out of the way? Even if you could have gotten in tighter to just capture the chain, sprocket, and plate it would have gotten the message across. JMO of course.
