Funny you should mention that the shot would have been of the back of the frog... it was actually the first thing I thought of... (why is he taking a picture of the frog's butt)...

But ancient memories of similar layouts in Nat Geo mag's were too fuzzy to remember if they had included a subject in their photos.

clever and crazy idea at the same time :-), i agree about your focus decision because it looks little undefined when you look at the photo expecting to see the animal in focus, but of course challengewise the camera should be in focus, clever thinking as i said :-)
