onionsby ErinMComment by Louis: I do prefer the pears because they seem softer and subtler, but this is a nice study of contrasts, particularly the magenta feeling of the skins against the earthier bowl. |

pearsby ErinMComment by Louis: Gorgeous. Wow, look how the texture on some of the skins echoes the grain in the bowl. An exceptional still life. I like what pineapple said. Then you notice how the two groups of three interlock in the two centre objects. Feels very harmonious; there is something very satisfying about all this. |

barbed_b&wby ErinMComment by Louis: Beautiful background. It complements the main diagonal well. I like the delicate plant husk versus the harsher, more textured barb. A very pretty picture, kind of emotive. Nice. |

three sheepby ErinMComment by Germaine: This is probably too subtle for the masses, but the sheep form a nice diagonal line to the lower right. Challenge entry? Probably not, for the aforesaid reason, but a very pleasing picture nonetheless. |
