magnoliaby ErinMComment by Ecce_Signum: Super dooper shot Erin! I find some of my shots get this extra sharp spot, over and above what I'd expect from my 50mmF/1.8 let alone my LB. This really drab building and young tree are brought to life nicely, especially with your processing. |

I really like the geometry. |

barn cat by ErinMComment by Jutilda: How beautiful. I love that he's all white except for some dots on his head. This is so soft and beautiful. |

Of course it is. Unless it's the head shadow of a Tyrannosaurus rhinoceros? Could be that, too. Good fun, either way. |

a walk in the snowby ErinMComment by ubique: Originally posted by cgino: Oh brr! I imagine a female double agent having to meet with her contact, so she has offered to take her neighbor's dog for a walk to give her an excuse to be walking through the park in horrible weather...:-) |
My thoughts exactly! Well, nearly. Oh, all right, I didn't really think any such thing. But I do now.
The trees are exquisite. And the spy, of course. Is she walking angled towards us, or angled away from us? Advancing or receding? I do love these images filled with ambiguity and uncertainty. It's why I cry (nearly) when I see all those comments on normal challenge entries about 'tack sharp' and 'distractions'. I just want to grasp their heads and a take a big ol' nasty club and ... cry. |
