3by hannekeComment by obsidian: Great shot, Han. Was not too sure about the blue tone but it grew on me the more I studied the picture as did the desaturation.
My only comment would be that I would have liked to see the grandmother leaning more to her left, closer to the child, pulling the generations closer together with the kind of subliminal message that the "young come together through the old". I also think the line connecting the top of the heads would be interesting in itself with that kind of effect.
But then, what do I know? :-) |

3by hannekeComment by hanneke: I added a blue photofilter, so the blue tones are right ;)
thanks for the comment robs, I'll check tomorrow what I can do to save the compo. |

3by hannekeComment by robs: I feel like I want the kid closer to the adults. Also not sure if the child would fit in better in bare feet also, although the wellies are not too bad (I assume you pointed them in towards the adults). Little cool (blue) on this monitor. 3by hannekeComment by hanneke: ok, thanks for the tips guys!!
I'm gonna re-edit it tomorrow, (blugh!) to see how it looks like with a different crop. |

3by hannekeComment by alfresco: It feels a little cramped on the right side, perhaps a larger crop to give more room on the right. This would have the secondary effect of (maybe) alleviating Ken's concern about contagious child syndrome (ie - it would feel the lil gal is closer to the mom and granny).
Overall I like the composition and the PP, nicely done Han :) |

3by hannekeComment by Art Roflmao: I like the desat / treatment and the overall feel, but the composition seems disjointed. The women are too far from the child, IMO. Does the child have a contagious virus? Cuz then I would excuse it. ;-) |
