The marsh itself looks great, but the sky is super dull. Shooting at a different angle to get more marsh and much less sky would help the cause, I think.

If you ever wanted to redo the PP, make the blur from the exhaust go straight back. On your edit, it deflects downwards in an unnatural way. I am not from Canada, but I suppose this is an aircraft not flying any more in RCAF? Have a peek at what it looks like, for instance on //www.airliners.net ...
