flower on old woodby mrr1Comment by Artyste: I'm sure you're getting comments like, "but a flower isn't wood" or "Wood is supposed to be the main subject".. am I right?
Poor sheepish DPCers. :) Love the lighting here.. could have done without the burned vignetting.. to each their own. |

monty and nellieby mrr1Comment by aznym: I like this one a lot and I did pick up cameras hanging from nails on the wall too. This shot gives an insight into how things used to be (for me at least) and I don't know if things still go on like this. You have told a story with this one and I like it a lot. |

monty and nellieby mrr1Comment by CLarson557: That's cute...naming your cameras. They are positioned nicely in the picture. Photo may be just a tad dark. I like the reflection on the lenses. Good job and good luck in the challenge. |

monty and nellieby mrr1Comment by Jutilda: Nice clear shot. Interesting that you chose to use wood as a background. It works here. Almost instead of horse tack - we have cameras!! The varied angles and the diagonal wood slat gives it some interest without being busy. |

cracked old timberby mrr1Comment by cpanaioti: Composition: Though I like the idea I feel that the image is out of balance. This could be corrected with a small increase in DOF so the top of the image isn't quite so out of focus or by cropping some off the top. 7
Exposure: To me it's almost right. The sliver in the right third of the image has blown highlights. Since it is in the area of sharp focus the blown highlights are a distraction. However the texture in the rest of the area of strong focus has been brought out very well. 6
Impact: The texture of the wood is what creates the impact for this image though I think it could be improved if more of it were in focus. 6
Overall: 6 |

flower on old woodby mrr1Comment by CLarson557: I really like the rustic"ness" of this photo. The clover and its color complements the weathered wood nicely. Beautiful lighting and shadow. I'm just not sure I'm all that crazy about the border. |
