I liked this image and gave it a 6. I understand your disappointment in entering a creative image like this and getting no feedback. I am not sure what I would suggest to improve it. It is cropped a little tight around the subject. I might have appreciated a bit more negative space.

BiF was the better choice. Much more difficult and technical to do. You got a good shot with both wings outspread and at least about 90 degrees on, most are from the B-Hind. Whites are a wee bit OE, so EV -0.3 or EV -0.6 during shooting could have helped that, and the BG would be a lot darker of course.

Awesome perspective, I've seen those close up and photographed them. They just blew me away, such power, such might, it was an experience I'll never forget!!
