If you watch and photograph a subject enough, any picture of that subject will create emotion, interest, joy.
Most DPC'ers I fear would say "Not enough light, too dark, uninteresting, poor compo" blah blah and vote 5.5 if they could.

They missed the vignette. The two facing birds watching the one about to land. The feather detail in the landing bird, and that there are in fact 6 birds and not just 4. Oh and the BW PP is subtle and crisp.

The lighting is excellent, and I especially like it with the bird on the left and the bottom-most leaves. Composition is also quite lovely.
