At one point he got scared enough to poop (I've never actually watched a spider do that before). He made it safely away into the bushes after I was done, though. |

Sunningby nsharpComment by nsharp: This was a lucky capture! I didn't even see him. My wife was the one who pointed the photo opportunity out to me. He is actually a baby, his shell was probably 3-4 inches across, which may explain his success walking on the pads. I'm just glad he didn't duck under before I got close enough to get this shot as he and my glass were both rather small :-) |
